Candlelight Vigil In Alexandria To Honor Ruth Bader Ginsburg

ALEXANDRIA, VA — On Thursday, a vigil in Old Town Alexandria will pay tribute to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the U.S. Supreme Court justice who died last Friday at the age of 87. Members of the public are invited to meet at Market Square, 300 King Street, for the vigil. Battery-operated candles will be distributed, and speakers will lead a moment of silence to honor Ginsburg’s life, work and service. At 7:30 p.m., the group will leave Market Square and walk down King Street to the art installation at Waterfront Park. Speakers will pay tribute to RBG with the event concluding at 8:15 p.m. >
