New Alexandria Drive-In Theatre To Host Six Weeks Of Outdoor Movies

Starting in late August, Eisenhower Corridor will transform into a drive-in movie theater, showing films through October.

Drive-ins have made a comeback amid the coronavirus pandemic, spreading across the region. The latest addition? Alexandria. Announced today, Aug. 12, two Alexandria businesses are partnering together to bring the big screen to Eisenhower Corridor, starting Saturday, Aug. 29.
The Alexandria Drive-In Theatre is being presented by ALX Community and The Garden, and will feature six movies running on Saturdays through Saturday, Oct. 3. The showings will include a mix of movie classics and family favorites. >
