Yvonne Evans
Yvonne Evans is a compassionate and results-driven Human Resources professional
with over 15 years of experience specializing in employee relations, training and
development, employee engagement, and talent management. She has a proven track
record of driving organizational effectiveness through thoughtful leadership, proactive
conflict resolution, and a commitment to creating inclusive and engaging workplace
cultures.
Yvonne has led transformative HR strategies across both nonprofit and corporate
settings, managing complex workplace investigations, spearheading employee
engagement initiatives that significantly reduce turnover, and designing learning
programs that boost productivity. Her expertise includes overseeing EEOC compliance,
delivering impactful leadership training, and guiding organizations through the full cycle
of talent acquisition and onboarding.
Currently serving as a Career Coach at Kindness Works, Inc. and a Training Facilitator
with Career Network Ministry, Yvonne empowers individuals to reach their professional
goals while also helping organizations retain and develop top talent. Her career includes
senior roles at respected institutions like the American Pharmacists Association, The
Catholic University of America, and The Emmes Corporation.
Yvonne holds a Master of Science in Management and Human Resources from UMGC
and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Morgan State University.
She is a certified Workplace EEO Investigator and Mental Health First Aider and served
as President of the Board of Directors for DC SHRM.

Emily Lenning is the founder of Blossom Marketing and a former Kellogg Company marketer specializing in HR marketing and employer branding. At Kellogg’s, she worked closely with recruiters on LinkedIn campaigns, talent marketing, and internal events to support hiring and retention. Today, she helps businesses grow through strategic marketing — bringing a unique perspective on personal branding, job searching, and marketing yourself in a competitive job market.

Shannon Malone-deBenedictis (she/her) is a two-time Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker, creative consultant, speaker, and facilitator. Her clients include Disney+, Netflix, and others. She currently hosts webinars about television producing and a lecture series called FULLY UNAPOLOGETIC on women’s empowerment & size inclusivity in the corporate world.
Gabby Ahrens

Gabby Ahrens
Based in Washington, D.C., Gabby Ahrens is a senior member of the Health Care Services Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates, a global leadership advisory and search firm. She specializes in recruiting senior executives, including CEOs, presidents, deans, department chairs, and other key leadership roles. Gabby advises a diverse portfolio of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, private equity-backed portfolio firms, medical schools, and integrated delivery networks. Gabby began her career in healthcare at The Advisory Board Company, where she worked with hospital CEOs and physician executives to leverage technology in enhancing patient experience, care delivery, and financial performance. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Legal Studies from Grove City College.

Maryalice (“Mavi”) Viljoen is an executive coach and leadership development professional with a background in hospitality, HR, and organizational strategy. As Vice President of Administration at QED Investors, she supports executive leadership and drives talent development at a global fintech venture firm. Mavi’s work—spanning corporate, consulting, and community initiatives—focuses on building authentic leaders and resilient cultures. She holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, is published in the International Journal of Servant Leadership, and is currently completing her executive coaching certification at UC Berkeley.

Tinatin Japaridze

Tinatin Japaridze
Tinatin Japaridze specializes in geopolitics and security in Eurasia, with a particular
focus on the Russia-Ukraine war. She also leads the firm’s coverage of the South
Caucasus, namely Georgia and Azerbaijan, including the countries’ domestic and
foreign policies, reforms, and leadership. She supports the Eurasia team in its
analysis of technology policy in the region.
Prior to joining Eurasia Group, Tinatin spent more than 15 years working at the
intersection of communications and security. She served as a vice president
of business development and strategy at The Critical Mass, a Virginia-based
veteran-owned small business, supporting and implementing the initiatives of
the US State Department and international partners in the Eurasian region. She
has also worked for the City of New York, first as the field and digital community
engagement specialist at the NYC Census and later as the press secretary for New
York’s Covid-19 response at NYC Health & Hospitals. For several years, Tinatin was
the UN bureau chief for eastern European media outlets, a UN Radio host, and the
producer of her own radio show on current affairs and international security. She
is a regular media contributor with widely published works that have appeared in
The Moscow Times, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic, among other outlets.
Her book Stalin’s Millennials: Nostalgia, Trauma, and Nationalism was published to
critical acclaim in 2022. Tinatin holds a master’s degree in Russian regional studies
with a focus on cybersecurity and digital diplomacy from Columbia University’s
Harriman Institute and is fluent in six languages, including English, Russian,
Georgian, and French.
Jared Fly

Jared Fly
Jared recently relocated to Alexandria, VA after a few years working and living in New York City. Jared has over 20 years of HR experience across a number of Industries, including 11 years at The Hershey Company (chocolate!!!), where he held a number of HR leadership roles in the United States, Canada and Asia. He most recently held the role of HR Director, Commercial for one of the largest spirits producers in the world (Johnnie Walker whiskey, Don Julio tequila,etc) Diageo, where he provides HR support for over 400 Sales and Commercial employees across the US. Jared’s experience has been focused primarily in the private sector working on talent, organization, leadership initiatives, as well as significant experience in interviewing and selection, along with career coaching. He loves coaching people in career transitions, helping them to find their own fulfilling career path based on their own unique strengths and experiences. He graduated with an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and previously a BA in Human Resource Management from Messiah University in Pennsylvania. He’s currently actively working on wedding planning with his fiancée, Vusala, in June 2025 and also is keeping busy with trying to train his cute(and crazy) Aussie Shepherd puppy named Ella!
