Austin’s proudest moment to date is winning a spelling bee in 2006. His favorite activities include golf and waterskiing. His favorite kind of dog is Swiss, his Australian Cattle Dog. When he was little he wanted to be an Ice Cream Flavor Inventor.

Partner/COO
Kelly is a founding partner of ALX Community. She has been honored as a 2021’s Business Philathropist of the Year, named one of Alexandria’s Most Insprirational Women and honored as a Rising Star in our community. Her favorite kind of dog is Piper. When she was little she wanted to be a marching bagpipe-est.

Brandon DeChirico
Community Manager
Brandon is an Eastern PA native who moved down to NOVA last year! Activities he loves are photography, traveling, and cooking. His proudest moment to date is being involved in theatre from the fourth grade until senior year of high school! His favorite kind of dogs are doodles, like his doodle Squid! When he was little he wanted to be a secret agent.

Luke Powell
Community Specialist
Luke was the president of his University’s acapella group, captain of his high school swim team, and he is an avid hiker. His favorite kind of dog is a Labrador Retriever. When he was little, he wanted to be a Jedi.

Kylie Zahringer
Community Specialist
Born and raised in NY, Kylie has planted new roots in the Alexandria community. She loves flowers, plants, and all things nature. Her favorite dog is a ruby cavalier king charles. When she was little, she wanted to star in the movie Air Bud.

Colleen Maloney
Events Experience Consultant
Colleen is an Alexandria native and JMU grad who enjoys all things travel and small business love. Her favorite kind of dog is Obadiah, her cat who pretends to be a dog with fetch and belly rubs. (Kidding! It’s currently an Old English Sheepdog.) When she was little she wanted to be an interior designer.

Kim Olson
Wedding & Event Consultant
Kim is an Alexandria transplant via western PA who loves writing, traveling, hockey, and long walks around Old Town. Her favorite kind of dog is a mini German Shepherd. According to her mom, she wanted to be a “career-type, single woman” when she grew up, which included a waitress, school secretary, or librarian. So far she’s one for three.

Ashton Fortune
Social Media Manager
Ashton was an essential piece of building the original ALX Community brand in our Founder’s Hall location. Now she has moved to New York in pursuit of acting and becoming a pizza connoisseur. Her favorite kind of dog is the French Poodle. When she was little she wanted to be a Boat Captain.

Sarah Locke
Community Specialist & Member
Sarah is an Alexandria Native, Founding Member, Team Member, Accountant, and avid Pug Mom! When she was little she wanted to sing in movies.

Julianne Woehrle
Community Specialist & Graphic Designer
Julianne is an Alexandria Native, graphic designer, and team member. She studied Fashion Merchandising in college and now does graphic design and art professionally. When she was little she wanted to be a public speaker.

Cindy Wallace
Art Curator
She paints primarily in acrylics, and her art is a happily-ever-after marriage of vibrant colors and bold brush strokes with a vivid and vibrant imagination. Wallace’s painting entitled “Faces of Freedom” received stellar critical reviews and became part of the corporate collection of Crown American Enterprises.
