Did you know that the Greater DC Region has the HIGHEST incidence and mortality rate from breast cancer in the nation? Tools exist today that improve the diagnostics and treatment of breast cancer, but most women either aren’t offered these options or don’t have access to places they are provided. Roughly 80% of even affluent, educated women in our area NEVER hear about important options that are proven useful in treating breast cancer, but with your help, we can turn the tide.

Don your best pink attire (“pink tie optional”), and join ALX Community and VIP Alexandria Magazine for a rooftop gala benefitting The National Breast Center Foundation. Your ticket gets you access to the event, open bar, hors d’oeuvres by Purple Onion Catering, dancing, fun interactive experiences, and the ability to participate in our silent auction, which will feature prizes such as hotel staycations, local spa packages, gift cards to local restaurants & boutiques, art, and more!

More About The National Breast Center Foundation: The National Breast Center Foundation has built and maintained a network of cancer-care providers, bringing access and discounted services around diagnosing and staging breast cancer to those in our local community who need it most. The center exists to improve the lives of women by removing barriers that prevent them from getting proper screening, diagnosis, and education about breast cancer. We are hosting this event to raise awareness and to fund and expand their services.
