ALX Community is aiming to open Founders Hall in April on N. Lee Street in the former Hannelore’s space, featuring a juice bar and more.
If you’ve always wanted to bring your dog to the office or grab a healthy juice in between conference calls, your workplace dreams are coming true.
ALX Community will be opening the doors to Founders Hall at 106 N. Lee St. in mid-April, according to Philip Brady, membership manager. The name of the space was inspired by nearby Founders Park.
On a recent early morning visit, the two-story space was crawling with workers busy renovating the space, a brick building with high ceilings and large windows that last housed a bridal boutique.
The main level will include a juice bar courtesy of South Block Juice Co., pop-up retail space and a yoga studio from Vikriya Lab.
For bicycle commuters, bike storage access will be available, and there will be showers on site.
Upstairs, expansive windows look out on N. Lee Street and beyond, and a huge skylight will bring even more light to the space. >
